In this interview, we sit and have a chat with screen & stage actor and author of series "Sunset and Vine" Per Hampton. Based in L.A, Per connects to tell us about his directorial debut short film, "Peekaboo".
Peekaboo is a fiction supernatural short film that tells the story of an author's fictional characters coming to life in his mind, and not accepting the "end" of his story.
In the making of this short film, Per took the decision to wear 2 hats: the one of the main actor as well as the one of the director. This experience has taught Per many challenges and let him to come to creative solutions to make it work with the support of a very technically-skilled team.
When asked about his number one advice to beginning filmmakers, Per first advises to "never give up", and then explains how obstacles can spark creative solutions and "make you clever".
