Indie-Clips Original Interview
Alexander Chettur and Jean Daly
on the making of short film "Inner Rhythm"
In this interview, we have a chat with co-directors Alexander Chettur (founder of Silvermoon Pictures) and Jean Daly about the making of their short film "Inner Rhythm", the story of a young artist's self journey.
Alexander and Jean take us back to the set of Inner Rhythm where collaboration and compromise were the main ingredients to a successful shoot.
With the help of a motivated crew of dancers and the support of their school, Alexander and Jean pushed through the challenges and learned about short filmmaking by practicing.
When asked for their main advice, Alexander and Jean both have very interesting pieces to share: Alexander uses the analogy "Be a sponge!" to explain how an artist must "absorb" any skills, advice, experience, and learn from others as much as possible.
Jean recommends to trust in your idea, and trust in other people's will to help you in the making of your projects.
