THIS HALLOWEEN, FILMMAKER ROBIN CHRISTIAN INVITES HORROR FANS BACK INTO THE C.O.R.N.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Chicago, IL —  October 14, 2026 — As Halloween approaches and audiences once again turn to the movies that make them afraid to turn out the lights, independent filmmaker Robin Christian is giving horror fans another reason to embrace the season — and a warning that they haven’t seen the last of the C.O.R.N..

Christian, a writer, director and producer whose filmmaking spans horror, suspense, drama, holiday films and musical-themed features, has carved out his own corner of independent horror with the C.O.R.N. series, a twisted world of cults, human taxidermy, mind-transfer experiments and the pursuit of eternal life.

And the story isn’t over.

Christian is currently looking ahead to a third installment in the C.O.R.N. series, planned for early 2027, promising another chapter in the disturbing mythology that began with C.O.R.N.: A Field of Screams and continued with Mind Harvest.

The appropriately Halloween-set C.O.R.N.: A Field of Screams (2021) introduced audiences to two teenagers stranded in a rural area on Halloween who encounter a mysterious cult known as C.O.R.N. — the Collective Order of Recreational Necrophilanthropists. Written, directed and produced by Christian, the film takes a macabre turn as the teens discover the group’s horrifying practice of human taxidermy.

Christian expanded the C.O.R.N. universe with Mind Harvest (2024), which pushes the story into even darker territory. After killing her cult-leader father, a woman and a psychologist uncover experiments involving mind transfer and find themselves confronting reanimated serial killers. The film continues the battle against the C.O.R.N. cult and its chilling obsession with achieving eternal life.

The series grew out of Christian’s fascination with taxidermy and his desire to transform an unusual subject into an original horror mythology.

“Halloween is the perfect time to celebrate horror movies because audiences want to be scared, surprised and taken someplace they haven’t been before,” said Christian. “With C.O.R.N., we’ve tried to create our own world and mythology. There is much more of that story to tell, and we’re excited to take audiences back into that world with the third film.”

Christian’s genre work extends beyond C.O.R.N. His shark-survival thriller Below follows eight teenagers stranded on a small swim platform in a freshwater reservoir while a massive bull shark circles beneath them. Written and directed by Christian, the film stars Kennedy Tucker, Mateus Ward and Dylan Riley Snyder and brings Christian’s approach to suspense into a very different kind of nightmare.

Whether the threat comes from beneath the water or from deep inside a rural cult, Christian’s films reflect the independent filmmaker’s affinity for unusual premises, suspense and genre storytelling.

With Halloween marking the height of horror-movie season, Christian sees an audience increasingly willing to look beyond traditional studio franchises for independent films offering something unexpected.

And for C.O.R.N. fans, there is another reason to keep watching.

The harvest isn’t over.

More details about the third C.O.R.N. installment, including production and release information, will be announced as the film moves toward early 2027.
